1) I posit it to be the female version, sort of, of The Hold Steady’s “You Can Make Him Like You.” Instead of encouraging the ladies to move on because there’s always other boys / there’s always other boyfriends, this is one is urging a dude to break up with his girlfriend because there’s always other girls / there’s always other girlfriends, namely: Robyn.

2) Doesn’t it audibly resemble, in a really good way, the bridge from The Killers “Mr. Brightside” ?? IN A WONDERFUL WAY. (“but it’s just the price i pay / destiny is calling me …)
